I’m heading to NYC in the early part of April for work. Then, a few weeks later we’re going to Charlotte to help my mom babysit Heir to the Throne. All in all, I’d rather be booking a Bangkok Flight! I could use a vacation.

We were in London last month, I mentioned that, right? We spent a LOT of time in the Tube or the Underground or the Subway - whatever you prefer to call it. We called it The Tube and occasionally we called it HELL (5pm rush hour traffic was madness).
We also called it interesting and fun. I wish more big cities had underground transportation systems. Check out this site that lists the Top Underground Transit Systems. There are some great photos and videos. Interesting stuff.
Anyone in London planning a trip to my neck of the woods? That would be Orlando! How about to my hometown, Charleston? I really hate it that someone is going to make money off of these books. But I hate it more that people actually believe they should not take their babies with them to some restaurants or stores or _______ and instead look for “baby friendly establishments”. I can see telling people to boycott a store if they aren’t baby friendly but to create a book to tell you where to take your baby? Um no. I will take my baby anywhere I choose to go. Well I would when I had a baby and I did when I had babies. New mommies, take your kid wherever you want and give the finger to those who seem troubled by this.

Can I just tell you how much I love the Tube Guru? I mean seriously. Is there something like this for other big cities with huge public transportation systems? If there isn’t, someone could make millions of dollars by creating one and offering them all in one place. The ultimate travel planner. Tube Guru, I love you!
Well, it’s officially live. Placeblogger that is. I think it’s a great idea. But I’m less than thrilled with the results from the 4 searches I’ve done there. Surely there are better blogs than the ones in the database for the areas I searched. Or maybe there aren’t??? If that’s the case then some people need to get busy place blogging!
I really wish I had just a little more time in the day/week. I’d love to do my own “place blogging”. Maybe my life will be different in a few months and I can do it. Maybe that should be a resolution. To make place blogging a reality in my life?
